i bought a pair of white lace - up oxfords yesterday. i'm completely obssessed with them. they are made of paper thin leather that makes them unbelievably comfortable.

Ah, they're so cute and mousy, if that's even a word. :P I'm going to hate hearing the answer to this but just in case there's a possibility, which brand did you get them from? I've been on a serious quest ender for these things and I have yet to find one.
