Note: before you start, MAKE SURE 100% that the shoes you are using are made of thin material that a stud could go through. If they are not DON'T USE THEM.

STEP 1 using a pencil draw a light sketch of the design you would like to stud onto the shoe

STEP 2 push a stud into the fabric using your fingers. this might hurt your fingers a bit.

STEP 3 crimp the sharp back of the stud using plyers.

STEP 4 repeat steps 2 & 3 with the remainder of the studs. be sure to follow the design you sketched carefully.

Voila! Your end product should look similiar to the picture above.

i go to dunkin donuts every morning for a donut and coffee but also to get a kimchi or curry croquette for lunch. the dds in korea are not like the ones in the states at all. they are beautifully decorated and have donuts from different countries.

VOTE! so i've been wanting prescription glasses for a long time because my contact lens were starting to irritate my eyes. i got a pair of wayfarer style eyeglasses yesterday and now all i want are ray bans! :D i've convinced myself i need another pair soon as back up but i don't know which style to get. should i just get the same style different color or a whole new style? help?!

flora is a amazing multi - room. a multi - room is a cafe where you can choose to either 01. play board games 02. surf the internet 03. watch television 04. study - all for 5,000 won ($5). also included is a list of treats (toast with jam. waffles. ice cream.) and a list of a drinks (teas. juices. coffee. smoothies.)

i drink alot of tea anywhere i am. i like to make lavendar tea at home (right). i like to drink orange tea when i go out (left).

anthropolgie is my favorite brand. i've been to every store in manhattan - all amazingly decorated. anthropologie is definately inspiration when it comes to my apartment.

i bought a pair of white lace - up oxfords yesterday. i'm completely obssessed with them. they are made of paper thin leather that makes them unbelievably comfortable.

breakfast at lunch time - this is what happens when i wake up late - i actually hate bananas! i only like them with cereal. my mom is always trying to get me to eat bananas, especially when i was younger. she told me it helps you poop regularly :)

this picture makes me sad because during this time of year bananas are really expensive in jeju and i bought them with every intention of eating at least one a day - four out of the five bananas bought went into the garbage can due to spoilage.

updated on 9/20 @ 6:02 pm since moving to korea - august 2nd, 2009 - my life has completely changed. i'm living in a apartment alone and i'm working full - time as a english teacher. i pay bills, i get a paycheck every month and i cook; i've never been so independent. leaving new york to teach in korea has been the best decision of my life. living alone in a different country has helped me mature and become a adult and now that i don't have to study for tests or do homework 24 / 7, like i did in college, i have more time on my hands to do what i really enjoy.

i've attempted to blog since the beginning of high school and the beginning of college but i didn't find the time to update daily and eventually i just stopped altogether. third times a charm, right? hopefully by the end of this - if there is a end - i'll have one of those blogs that get recognition for their unique content. heres to hoping!
